Delush Polish Ocean Sapphire

Here is another polish by the lovely and sweet Adriana maker of Delush Polish. This polish is called Ocean Sapphire and let me tell you, this polish is so beautiful. The photos I took do it no justice. I love how it changes color. One minute it looks blue and another minute a greenish color. "Ocean Sapphire is Stunning blue jelly blend with tons of holo and iridescent glitters!" Believe me the name of this polish fits it perfect because it does look like the colors of the ocean. The application of this polish was a little bit on the thick side and had a little trouble with it but I added a few drops of nail polish remover and it worked great. Since I bought a mini bottle the polish tends to get thicker easily. I would recommend buying the large bottle. It will last you longer.

Delush Polish Pinata Confetti

It has been a very long time since I have done any nail polish reviews. I have however done a lot of nail polish swatches for some indies for instagram. It just seems faster to do than blogging about it. I have been super busy with school and I just haven't had the time to blog about these swatches. I am currently on a 2 month vacation from school so now I have the time. :) So Delush polish is a new indie brand I came across on Instagram. I don't know how long Adriana has been making her polishes but I found out about her when she started following me on Instagram. Her polishes are so cute! I decided to go ahead and buy some of her polishes. I bought 3 from her. This one is called Pinata Confetti. It is a polish packed with lots of sparkly glitters. It shines beautifully in the light and in the sun. I cant help but stare at my nails hehe. I used this topper over Revlons Sassy #510. The application was smooth and with each dip, the brush was packed with glitters. I love this polish and the quality. This topper would go great with any color!

Daily Lacquer's Helios nail polish

Doing a quick blog today. I hardly blog anymore because 1 I haven't had much time lately, and 2 I don't have many followers or readers. Just a few readers like my friends but they get to see some of my swatches on facebook or instagram. Here are more pictures of Helios. I am in love with this nail polish. It is so beautiful! You can swatch this with so many colors! I had originally done a orange and beige mani with Helios over it but it chipped the next day because NYC polish is cheap like that. haha. So, since St. Patrick's Day is coming up I decided to do a green and beige mani with Helios over it. A little description of Helios....It's filled with beautiful iridescent rainbow-shifting glitters of all shapes and sizes.  It is also full of gold flecks which gives this polish this distinct gold shimmer.  Helios is based of the Sailor Moon Anime. He is a Pegasus that Chibiusa falls in love with. He always comes to her rescue when she calls to him. Every time Helios appears he is surrounded by gold shimmer and sparkles so that reminds me of this nail polish. He also transforms himself into a handsome young man. Below are pictures of Helios and my swatch of the nail polish. I tried to get good pictures of this but it was hard to get you to see just how beautiful this nail polish is. It is so beautiful! Maggy did an amazing job! I am in love with this polish hehe =^_^=

Black and Pink Heart Glitter Mani

This weekend I made a cute Valentines mani. Everyone is doing a red, white, and pink mani for Valentines so I decided to do something a little different. Yes there is pink glitter in mine but I don't have the typical red and white colors. I personally love how this came out. I have done a few nail art designs and haven't really been satisfied with them. This one I am very satisfied with. I love how the pink glitter sparkles in the light. Pictures are below

I need more practice cleaning up the edges of my nails. Overall this is the best nail art I have done.

Moulin Rouge Nail Polish by Daily Lacquer

Yay! I got my Daily Lacquer nail polish earlier this week! Maggy owner of Daily Lacquer sent me a yummy lollipop and a sweet little message on my receipt. She's such a sweet person. I love her! I bought Moulin Rouge and I'll Fly Away. I love them! For todays blog I will be posting about Moulin Rouge polish. I will post about I'll Fly Away on another post. Moulin Rouge is a glitter bomb to the max! Full of black, red, and gold glitter. It also has cute red and black hearts!  The formula was great. Very easy to apply and for every dip I would get a lot of black and red hearts. I love it! I used Moulin Rouge over two different colors. I wasn't sure what color to use so I did two different one. It goes well with white nail polish too but I wanted to try something different. I used Fierce N Tangy 230 (yellow) from Maybelline color show on one hand and NYC's Mulberry Street 212 (beige) on the other hand. I liked both. Below are the pictures. By the way, I will be updating with better pictures of this later this weekend. I got busy trying to come up with a treatment plan for case study the professor gave me. It was the hardest thing I had to do! Anyways, I just took pictures with my ipad. ^_^

Daily Lacquer "Chibiusa" Nail Polish

This is another mani that I did using Maggy's from Daily Lacquer "Chibiusa" nail polish. I had done a mani about a month ago but was not happy with the results. I made it too clumpy. So I redid them and I am now very happy with the results. I love this polish a lot! Chibiusa is based on the character Chibi Moon from the anime series Sailor Moon! Chibiusa is a white-based crelly polish full of pink hearts, pink holo hexes, and holo moons! I have to say, I was not a big fan of white crelly's until I purchased Chibiusa. I try to stay away from light colors because my cuticle areas are dark and I hate them. Even though I hate that, I loved how Chibiusa looked so I have come to like these white crelly's

I used Chibiusa over white nail polish and for the thumb and ring finger I used a very light pink from NYC (wallstreet)

 

 This is my favorite Sailor Moon Necklace. I bought from Kuma Crafts. She makes a lot of Sailormoon theme necklaces. She has one for Chibiusa but her necklaces are hard to get. I got lucky with this one.

 

I am very pleased with the outcome. This polish is very easy to apply and I did not have a hard time getting the hearts. I actually got lucky this time and was able to get one heart at least in each nail. To make the heart pop out a little I brushed over the hearts lightly a few times to take of a little of the white crelly with clear nail polish. That's it for today. Now it's time to study for my midterm. Booo

Makoto nail polish by Daily Lacquer

Hello! ^_^ Today I will be posting about Makoto nail polish made by Maggy Collins from Daily Lacquer as you all know. Makoto is Sailor Jupiter (Lita Kino) in the Sailor Moon anime.  This nail polish consists of a clear based polish full of gorgeous green and pink matte glitters and holo glitters. It also contains pink hearts and holo moons. I love how maggy mixed up these glitters. Its simply beautiful! The polish was so easy to apply. You get a lot of glitter each time. I didn't even have to phish for the hearts and moons.

When I was younger Sailor Jupiter was my favorite Sailor Scout. She reminded me of me. She was tough and tomboyish like me! And I would wear rose earrings just like hers. My dad even bought me Sailor Jupiter figurine. Sadly I had to throw her away because a puppy I had at the time chewed her up. I was so sad. Oh and today as I was paying for this nail polish at Wal-Mart there was this cute old lady behind the register. She loved the color of the polish I was purchasing. I will blog about that later. Well, she tells me how she loves nail polish and has a huge collection. She showed me her nails and told me how she had bought new nail polishes and couldn't decide which to wear. So she put each one on a different nail with a different design on them. They were so pretty and glittery! She saw my nails with Makoto nail polish and she loved it. It was so awesome talking to her about nail polish. It would be cool to have a grandma like her! My grandparents are in Mexico and it is almost impossible to see them :( Anyways below are pictures of my swatch. I used Makoto over Essie's turquoise &caicos. I used different lightings.

Moon Kitty nail polish by Daily Lacquer

So I finally tried on Moon Kitty Nail polish from the Moon Collection by Maggy the Daily Lacquerista! Purple is one of my favorite colors and I just love this polish! It is a purple jelly cream polish full of gorgeous silver and holo glitters with stars, moons, and diamonds. I really love this polish and Maggy did such a great job in making this! This polish is based on the Luna who is Sailor Moons Kitty. Below is a picture of Luna and my nails with the polish. I will be using this polish for new years to go with my outfit. ^_^ Also I did use this polish over Xtreme wear's Purple Potion. I just used one coat because I wanted more of the purple in Moon Kitty. I tried to use Moon Kitty alone but since there is so much wonderful glitter, the glitter would not stand out as much. When I used it over Purple Potion, the glitter just popped so beautifully. I also phished out a few stars and moons to put on two of my fingers because I wanted all my nails to match. I am so happy with the outcome! I love love love!!

Daily Lacquer Mamoru Nail Polish

So I recently bought Mamoru and Chibiusa nail polish set from Daily Lacquer Maggy and the polishes are beautiful. It was money well spent hehe. The set is called Father and Daughter Duo. These two characters are based off my favorite Sailor Moon anime. I am a huge Sailor Moon fan so I have been buying all of Maggy's Sailor Moon polishes lol. Mamoru is Darien also known as Tuxedo Mask and Chibiusa is Rini also known as Sailor Mini Moon. She is Mamoru's daughter.

 

Mamoru is a clear based full of black and white micro glitters, white stars, and a smattering of matter red hexes. Chibiusa is a white based crelly polish full of pink hearts, pink holo hexes, and holo moons. When I put on these nail polishes I was very satisfied with the outcome. Below are pictures of Mamoru polish over Loreal's Greycian Goddess. For Chibi Usa I used it over NYC's Wall Street #234. I dont have many pictures of ChibiUsa because I would not get a good picture of it so I will be re-doing it and will post on a different day. Ok now for the pictures!

The Deep Sea polish by ILNP

This is one of my favorite nail polishes a friend gifted me recently. It is Barbara's , I Love NP, The Deep Sea polish. The Deep Sea" is an adventurous blend of aqua and blue holo hexes in all different sizes with a splash of teal shreds and a few drops of teal jelly to tint the 3-free suspension base. I just love this polish! It was well worth the $10 I bought. I wore this polish over OPI's Road House Blues. I love how it glows in the sun. I tried to get some good pictures of this polish but wasnt able to. Also my fingers look so dry :( It's that time when the weather gets my skin dry. :( Anyways below are the pics I took.
